Christian’s morn today after news of Sunday’s tragedy. Gospel singer Dottie Rambo died Sunday when her tour bus ran off the road. The accident was two miles east of Mount Vernon on Interstate 44 near Springfield, Missouri. Seven others were injured and treated in a nearby hospital. Rambo was headed to Texas for a Mother’s Day performance.

The city faces a $16 million deficit in the 2008-2009 budget starting July 1 and unsuccessfully negotiated with its police, firefighter and electrical workers unions for contract concessions through 2012. Public safety salaries comprise 74 percent of the city’s general fund budget.

Freddie Mac changes mortgage rules, no cash out refinancing.

This will include any owner occupied or second homes added to any newly mortgaged property one desires to purchase in the future.
