Is God for bigger government intruding on peoples lives or is He for smaller government where the people take responsibility and care for each other? The latter is far more in line with Christ’s teachings and the Kingdom of God.

But the religious left doesn’t think so. They instead serve and worship at the altar of big government and the State as lord of all.

Religious left activist Jim Wallis is leading a new “40 Days for Health Reform” campaign for President Obama’s proposed government dominated overhaul of U.S. health care. Wallis unveiled the campaign during a media conference call. Next week President Obama will also join Wallis and others on a national call in an audio webcast on health care reform.
