An Arab Christian activist calls Barack Obama naive when it comes to foreign policy matters, particularly when dealing with the Middle East.
Brigitte Gabriel, founder of Act! for America, is outraged that Obama is going to meet with Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank. A Palestinian official has told CNN that the meeting will take place July 23 in Ramallah, though the Obama campaign has had no comment on the report.
Gabriel says a meeting between Obama and Abbas will only serve to give credibility to the terrorists. “For Obama — who is not even president yet — to initiate such a move and go meet with the Palestinian authority…gives encouragement to the terrorists and reaffirms in the Muslim Middle East that Obama does not understand the [region],” she states.
She argues that Obama will be the “perfect gullible president” who will lead America to destruction at the hands of terrorists.
ACT! for America, an organization founded by Gabriel states, “In mosques throughout America, perhaps even in your state and community, materials are being sold and distributed that:
* exhort Muslims to engage in holy war against us;
* incite terror and violence against us;
* call for abolishing our constitutional form of government and replacing it with the theological totalitarianism of strict Islamic law, known as “sharia.”
One study of 100 American mosques found that 75% of those mosques had publications and documents containing such material.”
ACT! for America has launched a nationwide petition campaign calling on Congress to conduct hearings to examine these materials. Recent poll results reveal that 74% of American voters believe Congress should conduct such hearings.

I could not agree with Brigitte more.
What really concerns me with Obama is that this isn’t the only area that he is “naive.” As president, he will put America at grave risk, all for the sake of appeasement!
There would never have been peace in Northern Ireland if the British Government has not started to talk with those who were at that time using violence to push their cause. Dialogue is the only way to resolve the disputes in the world. Jesus did not flinch from talking to those who were shunned by society. Brigite is wrong, wrong, wrong.

Brigette is right on. Who knows better than someone such as she who lived among the radical Islamists. If you talk with your enemy you make sure that you set the ground rules. Jesus never debated Satan when He was tempted by ole slewfoot. Jesus said it is written, three times. You cannot trust a people who have broken every promise they have ever made. Brigette is a brave defender of freedom. We pray for her continued safety as she stands up to Liberal elements in the press and on college campuses. I fear that if Obama is elected, the country will have taken a giant step toward the not so subtile invitation to many more Islamic Terrorists as they attempt to enter the United States. Europe has already fallen victim and we are not far behind.

Brigitte, you are spewing hate by spreading your baseless accusations. Enough is enough. PLO and Fatah are not radical Islamist groups. Educate yourself and reread the history of the Arab World. The Palestinian cause did not start with Islamism or anything like that. It was all secular same as the Zionist Movement under the leadership of Theodore Hertzl. Religion became an issue in the late 1970s and beginning 1980s because of the failure of the secular Arab groups like Fatah and PLO and other ones in other Arab countries because they were corrupt and oppressive. It doesn’t mean I support these Islamist groups. I don’t. I believ that secular are the ones who should fight Israel and stop the killing of innoncent Palestinians by uniting themselves and try to find alternative ways in order to continue their struggle against the Zionist state. Suicide bombings are not the answer. Or try to have an open dialogue and negotiations with Israelis because that’s the only way things in the ME could get better. And btw, Palestinians are not Satan. There are Satans and bad people everywhere not just in Palestine. And all what you were telling people about your story in Lebanon is just a flat-out lie. How could you eat grass for five years in a basement? Please explain that to me. And Israelis are more generous than Lebanese? How come? You are making generalizations. It is all about human nature; Not nationality, not religion, not gender, or sexual orientation. And btw, Islamic fundamentalism started during the 1920s and 1930s and it was very weak and not influential until 1970s and 1980s. Check the internet and look for what I am talking about.
