Sarah Palin. You will be hearing that name a lot in the next couple of months. She’s became a history maker when Sen. John McCain selected her as his vice presidential running mate.

But Palin isn’t done making history yet. She intends to help McCain deliver a TKO to Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Joe Biden. Is the difference maker?
The Voice magazine caught up with Carol Platt Liebau for some insight. Liebau is a guest radio talk show host for the nationally syndicated “Huge Hewitt Show” on KABC in Los Angeles, a long time political strategist, a Huffington Post blogger and a published author.
What’s more Liebau is the first female managing editor of The Harvard Law Review, where she worked with none other than Barack Obama himself. Has provided analysis and commentary on television for PBS, CNN, the Fox News Channel, MSNBC and “The Dennis Miller Show” and cultural commentary on network television.
What does Liebau have to say about Palin? She’s impressed.
“Sarah Palin is a magnificent choice for John McCain on substantive and strategic levels. Substantively, she brings reformer credentials, solid conservative principles and executive experience to the ticket,” Liebau says.
“Strategically, she helps put the women’s vote in play by underlining the fact that, while Barack Obama talks a good game about supporting women, it’s John McCain who actually vetted and chose one as his running mate.”
What’s more, Liebau says, she hails from outside the beltway, has solid “hockey mom” and blue collar roots, and excites McCain’s conservative base. Finally, she’s something of a ‘boomerang’ candidate.
“As Democrats criticize her lack of foreign policy experience, it draws attention to the fact that Barack Obama has little more; as they attack her solid pro-life credentials, it allows Republicans to point out that the Democrat ticket is headed by a man who voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act and to preserve partial birth abortion,” Liebau says. “Her attractiveness and her appealing family complete what is undeniably a compelling package.”
