Ladies and gentlemen, the results are… the next American idol is: President Barack Obama. Our new President is now more popular than Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King and Mother Theresa.

A new Harris interactive poll asked 2,634 Americans who they admire enough to call a hero. American adults (age 18 and over) spontaneously named President Obama as that person, the Harris Poll said.
