Presidential hopefuls John McCain and Barack Obama gathered at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif. Saturday night to discuss the broad topic of faith. The moderator: Saddleback Pastor Rick Warren, author of the Christian blockbuster “The Purpose Driven Life.”

A Canton man is suing a Tennessee-based Bible publisher, claiming their versions of the Bible that refer to homosexuality as a sin violate his constitutional rights and has caused him emotional pain and mental instability.

Brigitte Bardot, 73, is on trail facing racial hatred charges against Muslims because of a letter she sent to President Sarkozy complaining about negative Muslim influence on France and their feast of Eid al-Adha. Bardot was sued by MRAP, a group that wants to decriminalize homosexuality worldwide and protect Muslims from discrimination. The verdict is expected in June. Bardot has already been fined before for inciting racial hatred.
