Anytime deliverence is to take place you must go to the root and destroy the root to kill the fruit. I can not understand how he could be a christian for most of his life and think that God created him like this. That is a lie from the pits of hell! Homosexuality is a very powerful stronghold and I speak from experience, but I also know that there is delieverence . Even in my own personal struggles I KNEW it was not of GOD, because HIS WORD says that it was an abomination. To embrace what was not of GOD and just accept the lie that GOD created me that way, says that what I was experiencing and living was more powerful than the Blood of Jesus and His Word! No matter how difficult the struggle, I WANTED to be free and that makes a big difference. I will not accept, embrace, auquience to that which is in direct conflict with His WORD. That goes for deliverence in any area of our live. I pray that any one who is a christian and struggles with this will cry out and ask GOD to send them help. You cannot deal with it by yourself, you need to be able to trust someone that understands to walk you through the deliverence process. There is something called self-deception and I believe homosexuality is a sin when given to becomes a demonic stronghold "we wrestle not against flesh or blood". My biggest question would be did he try deliverance and anointed inner healing to deal with the legitimate feelings of being attracted to the same sex? If not, then he lost the battle of the flesh.
