Believe it or not, I was thinking that my column of two weeks ago was my last column in which I would focus on Congressman Ron Paul--that was before the Republican National Convention in Tampa took place. I have never seen such a disgusting display of chicanery and duplicity in all of my life. So, in spite of the fact that I have written so much about The Greatest Congressman In US History (my title for Ron Paul), here I go again.
One of the last (and very best) true investigative journalists is William Norman Grigg. I have admired his work for years. A report he recently wrote was covered by one of the very best (if not THE BEST) newspapers in the country, The Eau Claire (Wisconsin) Journal. Grigg writes, “When New Hampshire Governor John Lynch signed HB 146 into law on June 18, the Granite State became the first in the nation to enact a measure explicitly recognizing and protecting the indispensable right of jury nullification.
Cultural Marxism is the term used to describe the attack against Christian culture in America. They have done a good job of tearing down what has made America great. Dr. Ted Baehr and Pat Boone wrote about it in “The Culture-wise Family: Upholding Christian Values in a Mass Media World:” They wrote that the Marxist had to destroy Christian culture before a communist revolution could be victorious. They had leadership, a plan, and a strategy you need to know about.
After World War I ended in 1918, Marxist theorists had to ask themselves the question: What went wrong? As good Marxists, they could not admit Marxist theory had been incorrect. Instead, two leading Marxist intellectuals, Antonio Gramsci in Italy and Georg Lukacs in Hungary (Lukacs was considered the most brilliant Marxist thinker since Marx himself) independently came up with the same answer. They said that Western culture and the Christian religion had so blinded the working class to its true, Marxist class interests, that a Communist revolution was impossible in the West, until both (Christian culture) could be destroyed. That objective, established as cultural Marxism’s goal right at the beginning, has never changed.
Strategy: Educational Institutions First Then Political Power Last
Gramsci famously laid out a strategy for destroying Christianity and Western culture, one that has proven all too successful. Instead of calling for a Communist revolution up front, as in Russia, he said Marxists in the West should take political power last, after a “long march through the institutions” – the schools, the media, even the churches, every institution that could influence the culture.
That “long march through the institutions” is what America has experienced, especially since the 1960s. Fortunately, Mussolini recognized the danger Gramsci posed and jailed him. His influence remained small until the 1960s, when his works, especially the “Prison Notebooks,” were rediscovered. Georg Lukacs proved more influential. In 1918, he became deputy commissar for culture in the short-lived Bela Kun Bolshevik regime in Hungary. There, asking, “Who will save us from Western civilization?” he instituted what he called “cultural terrorism.”
The author’s offer a counter strategy as follows:
Now you know who stole our culture. The question is, what are we, as Christians and as cultural conservatives, going to do about it? We can choose between two strategies. The first is to try to retake the existing institutions – the public schools, the universities, the media, the entertainment industry and most of the mainline churches – from the cultural Marxists. They expect us to try to do that, they are ready for it, and we would find ourselves, with but small voice and few resources compared to theirs, making a frontal assault against prepared defensive positions. Any soldier can tell you what that almost always leads to: defeat. There is another, more promising strategy. We can separate ourselves and our families from the institutions the cultural Marxists control and build new institutions for ourselves, institutions that reflect and will help us recover our traditional Western culture.
This helps us understand the warfare against Christian values and culture. I’m convinced that you can’t fix what God did not designed. The war for dominion continues. Understanding what we face encourages me because the Kingdom of God message coupled with the restoration of the Apostolic Church model, equipping and empowering the saints with a dominion mindset, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and deliberate leadership training is a winning combination.

“There is no debate. That entity at the moment of conception is alive and it is genetically human. You were that entity at some point, he was that entity, everybody was that entity. It is a human life." - Former Senator Rick Santorum
In late May of 2010, Wellesley, Massachusetts public middle school students took a field trip to the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center - a controversial Saudi-funded mega-mosque run by the Muslim American Society of Boston. There, the students were separated by gender and the boys were asked to join the Muslim adults in their prayer. Several of the public school boys took part.
The video shows five sixth-grade boys kneeling, bowing their heads, and engaging in a prayer ritual. When was the last time your public school took children on a field trip to your Christian church?
Florida pastor Terry Jones sparked a firestorm of controversy when he called Islam of the devil and scheduled the burning of a Quran. Coach Dave Daubenmire ask the question, "Does Jesus Respect Islam?
"Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments." (Exodus 20:5-6)
I have watched with a great deal of curiosity the feeding frenzy created by the White House regarding the burning of the Quran by a pastor in Florida. I am always leery of where it is the media is trying to take me. First of all, they want us to know that Pastor Terry Jones shepherds a “small congregation” in Gainesville, Florida, as if behavior is validated by the number of followers that one has. Evidently Joel Osteen’s version of the Gospel is better than Pastor Jones’ because he has such a large following. I’m sure that Pastor Osteen would never do such a “hateful” thing.
God blessed us saying produce, multiply increase, subdue, and take dominion. Economics is part of the dominion process. Economics is the study of production, distribution and consumption. The road to prosperity is through production. Production to savings. From savings to investment. Destroy savings, destroy the country.
On Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano, Jim Rogers discusses the massive US debt, what he’d do as Treasury Secretary, and the future of the country if Washington doesn’t change course. The debt problem is a problem for “you, me, and our parents,” says Rogers. “This is a problem that’s hitting all of us in the face right now.” Rogers explains that Washington is only concerned with re-election, not whether the country survives.
'Deported,' the dreaded stamp, any foreign traveler fears the most, was stamped on Clement Isaac's passport by the Saudi Arabian officials at the Riyadh airport on 20 May 2009 and this made him black out. It was the culmination of a week long ordeal, which started on the night of 12 May 2009, when his family along with their very close friends was present at his house to celebrate his forty five years in service.
The Book of Jonah relates how God called Jonah to go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it because of its wickedness. Instead, Jonah ran away from the Lord and to Tarshish. Most of us are familiar with the story of Jonah and the whale. Jonah finally did as God commanded and preached repentance to the city of Nineveh. The Ninevites believed God and repented. When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, He had compassion on them and did not bring upon them the destruction He had threatened.
