A personal letter from the publisher of The Voice, Jonas Clark:

I feel sick to my stomach today. The direction our country is taking toward socialism, corruption in government and political pork offered as an economic stimulus plan is simply pathetic.

I can understand the behavior of the sinner but the thing that gets me is the lack of Christian leaders speaking out against this nonsense. Maybe being salt, light and a city set on a hill is just too controversial, too political, or too scary.

I don’t know about you but I think a 900 billion dollar “stimulus plan” is criminal. Bush gave us Tarp 1.0 now Obama wants his due and is offering us Tarp 2.0, the new and improved version of more national debts. We should remember what Thomas Jefferson said. “A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have.”

Is God turning our nation over to reprobate minds? Have the Christians become so apathetic and lukewarm that they don’t even care that the wicked are ruling over us? I have written and written about the wrong direction of our nation but I feel like a lone voice crying in the wilderness.

There are thousands of people that subscribe to the Jonas Clark Revolutionary Review and The Voice Express Newsletters and recently I have received very few comments on the events unfolding in our nation. Folks, that’s painful. Maybe I’m missing something here. Maybe we as Christians really do want a socialistic government. Maybe we really do want to put our trust in Washington as our source of wisdom and prosperity. Maybe we really do want Saul as king.

Yeah, I’m having one of those days. I’m trying to balance what the Spirit of God is saying to me with economic “facts” and good old fashioned common sense. Maybe I just need to calm down, ignore what’s going on around me and just focus on having good church. Don’t get me wrong, I love church and hanging out with God’s people. But I always thought part of the ministry was equipping God’s people to invade, occupy and influence the world for Jesus.

I’ve had some people tell me recently that Christians are not going to be affected by the economic hurricane approaching our shores. Wow, that’s just as pathetic as listening to Bush and Obama’s rescue plans. Don’t tell me that Christians aren’t losing their homes, savings and jobs! There I go again.

Folks, like many of you, I don’t want the wicked ruling over me, making decisions that affect my life without my consent and giving my tax money to support values that I don’t agree with like abortion, homosexual agendas and socialists programs.

So, where are God’s prophets? You know that I haven’t heard a prophet say anything that amounted to a hill of beans recently and I’m really sorry to say that because I still believe that the Holy Spirit has something to say to the Church. I titled this article “Prophets and Obama’s Stimulus Plan” to get your attention. For some it’s time to come out of the cave of Obadiah. For others it’s time to break free from Jezebel’s table and turn back to God.

Where are the Christian television programs? I remember years ago that TBN had their flagship program and we were all anxious to watch the many guests talk about what the Spirit of God was saying regarding world events. Maybe some of you old timers remember those days. Today it seems the programming is much different. What of other Christian programming? Could it be that our ministers have focused so much on church growth, seeker friendly programs and pop psychology that they don’t even know how to address the real issues affecting our nation?

I just wrote an article for The Voice magazine titled “The Dismantling of Capitalism.” In it I do my best to show you what we will face as a nation if we continue down the path we are taking. My prayer is that every Christian will have that same revolutionary spirit that our founding fathers had. We can change things. We can make a difference with our lives. I’ve said it a hundred times. Let’s be like Caleb that said “let us go up at once and possess it for we are well able.”

Pray for right the person

As a christian and a man of God, i believe that our aim is to pray and uphold one another, even if the person elected may not be the right person, we are not to take sides but to acknowledge the authority given to him. Our aim is to pray for wisdom in making right choices for the nation. I believe in the power of prayer. I believe when we pray, God takes over, and he uses anybody to make the right decisions come into place. Lets interceede together to see change and not to limit our prayers.

I agree with the observations you mention. But could it be that God is bringing the American church into a time of persecution, which has always been good for us individually, and good for the Kingdom of God?

Could Barack Obama be God's Nebuchadnezzer?

Could the silence from prominent Christian leaders, prophets, and Christians collectively, of what is going on with this nation politically, be because God may be ushering in an era that so closely emanates His return, that it may be possible that indeed Israel may become "surrounded by the armies" (Lk 21:20), shortly, signaling the actual and imminent event of His return?

Most patriotic folks love America and her heritage. It is very sad to see her die, having been used so greatly as an instrument of God. But we must be careful that we don't place any country as a substitute for our security. If we do, it is tantamount to "loving this world", hence, not "having the Love of God in us" (1 Jn 2:15).

The good news is, that the culture will get darker, enabling our *Light* to become ever so noticable, resulting in an ability to start little "Fires" all around us, within the marketplace. This should be our focus, right now. It is not a time to be giving up on this life, waiting for God to rescue us. We must still be fruitful and "occupy", to the very day we are taken out of this world.

Barrabas saw the Kingdom of God as something to be fought for within human power and strength, rather than perceiving that "the kingdom of God is within you" (Lk 17:20), and the inherent Power of the Holy Spirit that goes along with that to know the timing and supernatural method He would use to usher in His Kingdom: the death of His son Jesus. We must be careful that we don't become modern-day Barrabas', in our attempt to save America.

The greatest miracle that ever took place--Jesus' death on the Cross took place at a time when the heritage of the Jews and the identity of Israel was being diminished by the overpowering of the great empire of Rome, and yet there was silence leading up to Jesus' arrival on the scene.

The silence may not be a bad thing. What is going on may just usher in the "restoration of all things" (Acts 3:21). My heart and spirit weeps for this. We just need to be "ready", and have such an attitude that says, if we are "on the roof" when He returns, that we are not so attached to America (or this life) that we then "go down to pack our things" (Lk 17:31).

I close with with these two promises:

"In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." (Jn 16:33)

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom 8:38-39)

Amen? Amen!

I am a prophet of whom you speak. There are many of us out here. We have been in seclusion for literally decades, being tested and purified by the Holy Spirit. I personally have been in seclusion for 32 years, a nobody to all who see me, but in Christ, I am a prophet being prepared for war. We are about to emerge from our seclusion with great power and authority. There is a great move of the Spirit of God coming and when it does, there will be no mistaking it.

There are still some prophets declaring the voice of God, I recently declared a word for this nation a week ago in Pompano Beach, Fl, titled where does your loyalties to lie. Obama is the people choice,and we respect the ruler we have been given by the people. But God is El'ohim and he reign supreme in every area of a real prophets life. This nation needs to make a decision on who she will serve-- God needs to know where her laoyalites lie. Some have already choosen to serve baal, but I sense that the Lord has a remnant of prophets as yourself t and I, that will cry loud and spare not. Your venting is needed in this country. Since she will not cry out for her self you must be the "VOICE, crying in the wilderness to her to repent for the kingdom has already suffered enough violence, as we must present the gift of righteousness and salvation to even the lowest of harlots. One thing I learned about an conspiracy in order for it to be carried out it had to be strategically planned. And this is the final word ,sleeper cells have predetermined assisgnment and when they detonate everyone in the perimeter have the chance of been killed. Thank God we are sheep of Jesus fold.

Sorry Saints, but President Obama is Jesus choice for this time. If we hold anything against President Obama and not bring him before the Throne of Jesus, we all have failed this era. Yes he is a sinner and every President there was. God's Grace is bigger than Obama. Complaining is not up for debate. Decrees and Prayer is on Jesus agenda! Jesus Reigns over the just and the unjust. Elijah never complained over the wicked rulers over the land. He took a stand with the authority within him and made decrees. Jesus when on earth never complain about Ceasar but kept doing the works of His Abba!!! So press foward Saints of Jesus, for God's plan is coming to pass. And no one can "stop HIS plans" no one.

For almost 10 years I have been hearing that the prophets are being prepared. What really is going on is, if they were in church where they're supposed to be in first place (1 Cor 12:28), submitted and serving under a true apostle our culture would be a lot different today. But they've been running out of the church feeling rejected. Perhaps prophets your place of preparation is in the church and NOT isolated from it. Christ said, "I will build My Church." Get back in it and help build, prophesy and be accountable.

One person in here suggested "silence is not a bad thing." I beg to differ with that... remember a religious spirit always wants to quiet the voice of God and so does the Jezebel spirit. But I do have to say that silence is just as powerful as speaking out loud and clear. Both have different results. As English philosopher Edmund Burke said, ‘The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing.’

First you told us to vote Bush, he's a Christian man and will guide the country based on conservative Christian values; well we did and look at the shape we are in. For eight years the "Phrophets" had nothing to say. Now all of a sudden God is speaking to you. Many times the Phrophets of the Bible had solutions based on "This is what thus saith the Lord" My question to you "Prophets" is what is the solution. At least this man is doing something. Whereas the man the "Phrophets" chose has the country in a devastating position. Never once did you speak out against the direction Bush was taking us in. The world is watching us and it is watching how America with it's Christian values will treat this man. It is obvious the Lord has allowed President Obama the grace to lead. Nobody can ask God what has he done or hold back His hand.

I believe the Spirit of Cyrus is upon President Obama and he is walking in the wisdom of God. Never have we seen someone who is trying work with both parties, as he is trying to do. Where were the prophet voices in the past 8 years when we were under the Bush Administration, with all the lies, deceit, regarding the war, torturing of prisoners, over spending and not giving accountability of their actions. Truly the spirit of Jezebel (control, manipulation) was before us daily with pride and arrogance. Before we can truly judge this man, we must ask God to forgive us for being silence and do a self examining of ourselves. Is this a republican or democratic thing? I heard the voices of the evangelicals to pray that it would rain on the democratic convention, instead it rained on the republican convention. I heard lies, manipulation, trickery come from the mouth of the republican candidates. I remember being upset with former Pres. Bush regarding many of his decisions and I did not even want to pray for him. The Lord reminded me, he is your President and must pray for him. I leave this thought for you to spend more time asking the people to pray regarding what spirits that are operating instead of words that are full of division and strife.

Let's pray for our leaders and leave the rest to God. Our nation has bought a lot of what is going through right now on itself. We did this! We've open the door to satan in our churches too. Our church leaders have become slack, greedy, and worldly?

We all need to humble ourselves and pray. God said that only then will He forgive us and heal our land. If we don't turn back to God, we'll be turned over to a reprobate mind.

I did a quick Google to see if there are any prophets out there providing wisdom. To my amazement I found nothing but judgment and God's punishment. Dutch Sheets for example prophesied, "There comes a time when he will not forgive or bless the majority based on the prayers or actions of only a few." Basically, God will not forgive us... say it ain't so, Dutch! Wasn't God in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself? If God won't forgive us we have no hope in this world.

Tell the prophets to speak what God is saying, not their opinion. His Word, counsel and plan...

Very rarely, do I have time to read the mailings you send out. But this morning during my prayer time Father lead me to open your e-mail and read it.
As a Prophetess of God, in response to your questions where are the prophets and why are we not speaking out? Because all of Heaven is silent right now and so should we. We ONLY speak when the LORD has something to say.
Perhaps our silence is the wisdom of God, too long the church has spoken, ministered, and behaved out of emoition instead of by unctioning of Holy Spirit. This is why more souls have not been won. Is it not written, "he who wins souls is wise..." For such a time as this, we need to put our emotions aside and WAIT on the LORD!
The church is in transition right now and it is vital that we ALL wait on the LORD. Do not allow your emotions to hinder, the flow of Holy Spirit.

Bro. Jonas................I feel that you are right on and have every reason for righteous indignation over the state of the Union and the Church!

I, too, wonder where the prophetic voices are daring to say anything pertinent and significant in these days! In my view, we have cow-towed to the politically correct spirits of the age.

I don't believe that Obama is God's choice and will to lead this nation. We have him by default caused by believers that voted with their pocket books and not their consciences and biblical convictions. I suspect that there will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth before too long, as the chastenings and judgments from the Lord begin to transpire in a nation that has collectively chosen their king, which is much how Obama is seen.

History has proven that the Church has usually remained silent until it is often too late to be the voice of righteousness, until there is no remedy, or too little, too late.

I commend you for taking the lead as a Voice crying in the wilderness to make the way straight for the Lord. I have never seen so much compromise, complacency and worldliness seep and ooze into the Church as we are seeing in these days. It is pathetic!

Charles Colson authored a book several years ago titled Kingdoms in Conflict. We are smack dab in the middle of this conflict right now, and our attitudes and actions over the next few months will likely determine our destiny for years to come. Oh Lord, awaken the Church or we will surely die in this wilderness of our own creating!

The church has failed for over 2000 years with the abuse of Bishops and the over use of the Pastors mantle. Additionally, Mega church leaders need to step it up. God has given these men and women a platform to attack these issue but they continue to teach an over-done prosperity message, and foster an enviornment of "happy" church where 90% of the saints are "hiding" and not held accountable for the advancement of the Kingdom and for the occupying of the territories. THe spirit of fear is all over them and they will not speak out for fear of losing what they have. Shame on them and us. As an Apostle of the remnant church, I for one, stand with you in attacking this "Python" spirit that has plagued the church and have called for my intercessors to enter into warfare. Additionally, we are entering a season where God is giving the people what they asked for. I Pastor a church the is 90% black, I'm married to a Black women (I'm white) and I speak the truth without fear. I've told people that if they think the last 8 years was bad ... just wait. So far (2 weeks) and this Administration has already increased government spending for murdering children, said to Islamic extremist that we are not the enemy, and wants a $800 billion dollar bailout package that will place a yoke of bondage on people for generations to come. We mst remember this is not a fight against Obama, the democrats or republicians. Both parties have no idea what to do.This is a fight against the Kingdm of Darkness.So Jonas, we at Authority of the Believers Church in Columbus Ohio stand with you sir in this fight against lawlessness. Do we want to live peaceful and quiet lives? If the answer is yes, then I Tim 2: 1& 2 is the solution. We in the church are to pray for and yes, be thankful for everyone, but specifically for kings and all those in authority. Now that Obama is president, this is our responsibility, whether we like it or not. It is time for the church to rise up and use the authority given to us to pray for God's kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven. If we don't, then no whining is allowed. I believe the Holy Spirit said to me a couple of days ago that if we don't do it now, it will be another 400 years. That was the period of time between Malachi and John the Baptizer. Is that what we want, 400 years of silence? It's time to stop building our own kingdoms and to start building God's. Period.

I agree with you 100%. For over 10 years I have felt the same way. In seclusion. Where do Americans put their trust? In money. I believe that all things are working together for good. I was reading just this morning about Moses going to Pharaoh, when God sends you, He will equip you! I believe due to the economy, the only place the unsaved will have to turn to is God! It may look bad, to the world, but the things of the world are subject to change. The harvest is ripe! But the Church has to be ready. I to have been tested and purified by the Holy Spirit, there is too much flesh left in the body of Christ. I am waiting on a true spirit of manifestation and demonstration! And I believe it is coming soon!! Praise God, I am so excited about what God our God is about to do in his Church and in this Nation!!

My husband and I are prophets in the Kingdom of God and we to have been crying out about what has been taking place in our government and the church. We agree with you and Mr. Summers. Everyone is bound by tradition, control, prosperity messages, etc. We to feel like we are alone in the wilderness. I am now moving in what God has called me to do as far as getting the prayers warriors together in the state of Delaware to invade the enemies territory. There is a strong religious spirit, as well as witchcraft. The church is in a state of apathy and apostasy. We have been trying to educate people concerning what is really going in our government and the body of Christ. I know how you feel. Just remember you are not alone and God will never leave himself without a remnant to work through. Please pray for us as we endeavor to continue to do what God had called us to do. No one said we (the prophets in seclusion) weren't in "Fellowship" with other believers. The term seclusion I use means we have not been revealed in the ministry God has ordained for us in these latter days. If the prophet is not properly trained and tested, he will most certainly not be ready for the ministry that is unfolding. They are surely coming, along with many other gifted srvenets of the Lord Jesus Christ and we are going to see signs and wonders preached alonside the gospel of Christ like this world has never seen before...

There are prophets declaring God's word. They may not have access to TBN and christian networks. They have been experiencing much preparation, persecution and purifcation and will be coming forth in God's undeniable power in this last days to declare his word, will and way.

As the body of Christ, army of God, bride of Christ, we cannot allow our love to become waxed cold because of all that is going on. We have to guard our heart against everything that will seperate or hinder us from hearing God's voice clearly. On a daily basis, we have to seek God's heart and perspectives like never before, we have to walk in humility and obedience. We are required to prayer for President Barack Hussien Obama. Why did God allow Cyrus to be king and he was not even saved. What about Him allowing Esther (Adassa) who was a Jew to marry the heaten king Ahasuerus/Xerxes.
We are living in the best and worst of times. THis is such an awesome time for the church.

We must continue to prayer that we as the body of Christ be all that God that called us to be- that we mature in Christ and that we have greater intimacy and unity with Christ and each other. The Lord God reigns, and we are supposed to reign with Him. Saints, be encouraged.

Pat Robertson received a message from God that is interesting.

Also, Kim Clement is being used by God to deliver a national message, and his website reveals how God wants to work.

If I had one thing to say it would be that churches need a weekly meeting where everyone in the church gets together to pray in tongues for what God wants to accomplish - and God knows what needs to be accomplished.

In fact, God said through Kim Clement that He wants Christians to pray together. But who listens to what God says?

People who practice witchcraft attend every church to target Christians with demon spirits to oppress them and attempt to defeat the work of the church.

The solution to that attack against the church is to have everyone in the church meet weekly to pray in tongues together for what God wants to accomplish.

God wants to deal with the oppression that comes from those who practice witchcraft.

It is time for the church to AWAKE!! Discover who they are IN Christ and rise up against the enemy. Rather than social events,and expecting the government to take of us, we should have prayer around the clock daily. Christ is returning for a Victorious Bride not a defeated church.

I sooooo fully agree with your comments. As long as we have the five fold ministers pumping out feel good gospel sermons, and how we can declare and decree that the lepord can change it's spots mentality. That the true Christian will come up smelling like a rose as this nation goes to hell waving a bible in one hand and preaching something far different that Jesus and John the baptist preached. I believe as well as anyone that Obama and the fools in D C can be saved as well as I was, but myself nor anyone else, not even Jesus will force repentance and salvation on anyone. Oh for some genuine statesmen, and men and women of moral intigerity to occupy the halls of congress again. That God would raise up true prophets who have actually heard from God, instead of so many of these wannabes that speak out religious lies and build up ministries unto themselves. Mr. Jonas , please keep on venting. Truth is usually devisive to "some'. . But we are called to be a seperated people. To be salt and light. I am very concerned for the direction this country is going. We have allowed heathen gods to have and equal standing with Christianity, and now the heathen gods in their followers send thearts to the people of God the Creator and His church. Our grandchildern are inheiriting a dangerous country, devoid of Holy Spirit power. As we allow Jesus to be cast aside, we can expect the results of that action. Lord Save America, in Jesus Name.

Apostle Jonas you are a Blessing for telling it the way it is!! I can't believe it Christians googly and raving over a President the openly agrees with abortion and many other ungodly antichrist policies. The majority of the church has it's head in the sand! Wake up Church!

Luke 16:8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

Three years ago I was upset that our immigration laws were not being enforced in our country. I asked myself this question, Why is our President (who I voted for) telling us we have to go to Iraq to fight terrorists when our borders are wide open? What is going on? So I started digging on the internet and I couldn't believe what I found.

I have known for three years that this financial calamity has been coming and have tried to warn family and friends. I didn't even need a prophet to tell me I found it out just be researching on the internet. Although several prophets confirmed what I had found.

By the way I love the Word of God and I’m sure you do to but you may have to put your Bible down for a bit to watch the following documentaries. I was accused once of being so spiritual minded that I was no earthly good.

Did you know the government doesn't care about you paying $4 a gallon for gas? They don't care about America becoming independent of foreign oil. See about Stanley Meyers who invented a car in the 1990's that would run only on water. No gas, no electricity, not a hybrid, his car ran on water only. I am in agreement with you. I cannot believe the silence that is coming from our Christian leaders. The church has got to stand up and say no. To take a stand once again for righteousness in this country. I know how you feel when it comes to wanting a voice in this country. Those who have a voice aren't using it. And those who don't have a voice want one. We need to pool our money and take large ads out in all the major newspapers and protest. Cause a stir. Do something. Anything! I also agree with you. It appears as though every decision made to date is done in order to through the dirt on America's already dug grave and this stimulus plan is the shovel to pat down the grave.
I wonder how our nation has become so deaf, dumb and blind. I watched on the news as they announced the overturn of Roe vs. Wade and the next minute told what church the Obama family attended on Sunday morning. Evil acting as though it is good and the nation bought the package. If you steal you are a thief, if you kill you are a murderer; we must call things the way they are or live a lie ourselves. The stimulus package is by far rediculous. If I am losing my new home (wish I had one) then borrowing more money isn't going to help the debt but increase the level of responisbility because now I will owe more than I could already not afford to pay back.
I keep thinking, God did speak to Pharoah so he certainly can speak to Obama. I can see no hope long term for America with this current administration for man is to busy trying to be the one with the answer.....to recieve a mark in history as great yet there is ONE HOPE in our LORD JESUS CHRIST. If Obama would turn from his wicked ways, repent, humble himself before Mighty God he could then lead the nation to do the same. The Word of God declare that then and only then our Father would hear us as he leans his ear from heaven and He alone would heal our land.

Let me preface this by saying that I am a Black Christian American. If I hear someone else talking about praying with no emphasis on what we are to do once we are done praying I will probably scream. Thank God for Apostle Jonas who gives us the “what to do” when you’re done praying.

Prayer has become an apathetic, laid back excuse for us to ignore our responsibilities to our Christ, our Nation, our community, and our children. What are we leaving for them because we refuse to do something when we come out of the proverbial “prayer closet”? SELAH…

What the enemy has done in all of his craftiness, is brought what appease the lust of the eye, flesh, and pride of life to the body of Christ and we have bought it hook line and sinker. We have prominent men and women of God of all colors, nationality, political affiliations, and denominations who have been deceived. Just has many of our leaders were deceived in the Lakeland, FL situation, we see another dimension of that deception in many of our leaders endorsement of a man who’s political agenda, policies, and history has been entirely Anti-Christ. The Bible warns of this last day deception where even the very elect will be deceived.

I have been encouraged to find that there are other Black brothers and sisters who realize our loyalty lies not with our race, but with our Christ and his kingdom. I’m a proud Christian American who happens to be Black. The celebration of the historical election of a Black president was short lived because many began to realize it was more to it than that.

Black comedian Steve Harvey said it best when he opened up the Celebration of Gospel show last Sunday night: “Barak Obama is the President. He is not the Messiah. Everybody’s talking about change. If you were broke before the election, guess what??? You are still broke. Obama can’t bring you change and the only change that will take place is when you change by the help of Jesus Christ. (paraphrased)”

Thanks Apostle Jonas for giving us the truth so that we can be TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of our MINDS. When we change the way we think about who Christ is, who we are, and what our responsibilities are as believers, undoubtedly everything around us will change. Why, because we will pray and then get instructions from God as to what to DO.... Jesus went about DOING! So should we. Let us rise up and stop waiting for someone else to DO what we have been called to DO. Let’s be the church (government of God) and stop letting the heathens govern us, even from our pulpits… SELAH.

These thieves would take 900 billion dollars of tax payer’s money for a “stimulus plan” (which really means the government is going to get bigger and bigger while private corporations get smaller) on top of the billions given to the banks and auto industry bailouts but then want to investigate ministries who are not making even a 1% of that? Focus? Where is it?

What ever happened to focusing on Jesus? If we focus on what Jesus has taught us, then we should feel confident if we are of this world, we will not be effected by the worldly things that are in turmoil today. We can be in the world and not see Jesus, but if you are of the world you fix your eyes on Jesus, he is the only way out of all of this turmoil today. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, He never changes, trust in Him and He will direct our paths. We need to pray continually never letting our Faith keep us from where God says we are right now. We as the people are the church, so then we as the church need to get on our knees and pray at all times for the president,our government local, state, and national. We as the church have failed God not God failing us. What is it that we as Christians want??? You can make it change, its up to you to do what Jesus taught us. I'm tempted to be deeply saddened because we have no direction now as a nation. It would seem that our nations youth have become blinded by this seeming cult. The Christian leadership of this nation have become the prophets of Ahaz. And anything that the cult leader says is ok because it just wouldn't be politically correct to disagree with their Jezebel's"beautifully-wonderfully-rainbow-liberal pie in the sky correctness . I agree, my brother, that it is time for Obediah's prophets to come forth out of the caves and boldly proclaim the Kingdom of God and all its glory for our true Master. We have to take courage and encourage ourselves as David did in I Sam.30:6 because fear is our enemy and this spirit has been keeping them from coming out of the caves. A lot (not all) of these prophets are in the caves from being rejected so much throughout their lives and the spirit of fear is masking itself as this rejection. I can only hope that this fear isn't saying "whats the use?" .."Be of good cheer"....our Lord has overcome the world!
Apostle Jonas, I love and respect you immensely. I know you are an type of John...a modern day voice in the wilderness. You are in my prayers for comfort and encouragement. Be strong man of God! Our God reigns....we as His Holy people need to sit down with Him at His side until He makes our enemies a footstool for our feet. As you have so prophetically spoken, we must "decree" by imagination from His throne of Grace In His Holy Presence is His joy...and His joy is our strength! An Exceedily Great Army Coming Forth

I beleive you will get your hearts desire,
I see an exceedily great army coming forth, the breathe of the Lord is raising us up. Timing is important to God He knows when to send us forth, We will hear the King of kings, Roar.........NOW! Just when it looks like all hope is gone, He comes and puts His breathe of life into us and we will arise, then we will know that He is God it is not by our own might but by His Spirit. As Ezekial prophesied we need to speak to the winds and say, "This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so that they may live again." So I spoke as the Lord commanded me, and the wind entered the bodies, and they began to breathe. They all came together and stood up on their feet-a great army of them. (Ezekial 37)

Church!!!!!! Speak to the winds, and say this is what the Sovereign Lord says! My people who are called by my name will arise and take dominion and be an exceedily great army of the Lord God Almighty.

I concur, where are the prophets that tap in the mind of God. Here are my thoughts... The Prophet and the prophetic word should bring HOPE. I see blogs and website that state they predicted or prophesied the coming economic crisis. I really haven't seen any instruction or strategy on what to do now it is here. Jospeh had a strategy in the time of famine.
Where is the word of the Lord that encourages, comforts exhorts, even instructs and shares wisdom . Where is the word that brings HOPE? There has been a spirit of hopelessness released...Who will prophesy against it?( in opposition to)
Where are the governmental type of prophets with more than a personel prophecy?

Brother Clark, I just want to take a minute and encourage you. I am sure you feel alone as you sound the alarm for the "Christian church world" to wake up. However Mr. Clark there are many instances in the Bible where God accomplished HIS plan with (1) one person. Keep sounding the alarm because there are many unknown lay brothers & sisters who continue to cry out to God along with you. At one time many of us were following after the flesh but God got a hold of us and turned us around. We must pray for the "head leadership' (pastor's)of the Christian church here in America, to repent and come back to their 1st love. Please Mr. Clark, do not be discouraged. Continue to sound the alarm. (Vent) God always has a remnant that will obey HIM. Your articles are so informative to many who need help in discerning events in the world and what the headlines really are telling us about what condition our government and our world is in. I am discussed with the deception and corruption I am seeing with the Obamination...this "stimulus" package is an effort to further control private enterprise and make it govt controlled.

I am also appalled that so many of God's people are saying little against the direction Obama and his like are taking us. But I believe the reason is the heavy seduction upon so many, both in the world and in the church. God gave us a choice in November, 2008, and we wanted a king like all the other nations rather than to repent and work righteousness in our every day lives. So we listened to the lies and seduction given us, and now we are reaping what we sowed. But like Israel of old, Samuel in I Samuel told her that she had sinned, but if she would turn back to God, and forsake the wickedness, and refuse to follow other gods and so pursue vanity, that God would forgive her and be with her. And Samuel told Israel that he would teach them the good and right path, and also pray for them. We are in a like situation today. We who are mature in Christ need to teach others the good and right way, seek God for ourselves, witness of Christ, and pray for those around us. I agree with your article in some ways. However, I do believe that God is going to come forth in a mighty way. When everything is at its end or we see no hope, that is when the Lord will come forth strong and mighty. He will deliver. Also, I would like to say that maybe people are tired of so many prophets talking but saying nothing. I was told by my financial adviser to close my store a year ago, or else go broke. Well, the prophet of our church advised against it. I tooked the advise of the prophet. Two other prophecies have come forth that encouraged me to stay still and trust God. Well, now the store is closed and I am broke. I have been selling left over products from a friends store parking lot, now the city is giving me a hard time about that, even when I do what they ask. The Stimulas should be for the small businesses that really need the help. Or give back to the working class, those who have worked hard and paid taxes. So Apostle Jonas what do the Christians do when their hope and faith has been shattered by "Prophets". I am still holding on to the Lord, where else can I go, but to the Lord. These days with everybody becoming Apostles, Prophets and Dr.s of Divinity, we need to know how to tell the real from the false. I admit I have seen and heard some really good ones. Why don't the church world just unite and pray of Obama to hear God, and not just those that surrounds him. God bless you, I look forward to future articles.

Stand on My Word in John 16. Pay attention to Me. I The Holy Spirit will obey verses 13-15. I will show you things to come. I will lead you through troubled times. I already have THE PLAN and it's very good. Follow it. It will not only get you through, it will place you in a highy place, a strong place of victory. You will have to discipline yourself and be diligent to listen to Me. All other voices will have a plan, a word, an idea for your future and security. Don't listen to Babylon's system. It has fallen apart. My system is stronger than ever. My Kingdom is flourishing and The Blessing is the place to be. Keep your eyes on My Word Listen to Me. I will guide you and will perform it. Love Me, Love my people as I have loved you Walk in it. Love never fails and neither does my plan. Keep clean from covetousness (1 Tim6:10) must live in the forefront of your thinking. If you do hese things and continue therein, you will come into a place lifted up, a place in Me already planned and prepared for you now and here.Not in heaven, not yet. Why Not?

I keep hearing about how horrible our past government has been and now the present government. The church has always been the leader and will continue to be the leader. The government of our land is simply following our leadership. We cry out about injustice in the government when it affects our natural way of living, comfort and convenience. Where is the cry about the injustice in the church, itself? We allow all kinds of ridiculous activities to take place and then stretch and construe scriptures to fit our needs when it comes to the government of the land.

Prophets have spoken out in frustrations for well over a generation concerning the condition of the church. We, the church, are the ones who have allowed what is happening in our land to happen. We have social and racial and economic bigotry still current in the church. Our young people are leaving the church as quickly as they leave home. Unwed pregnancies and divorces are as strong inside the church as in the world. We hollar and clamor for prayer in the school, but most pastors do not attend their own prayer meetings. If you call the average "mega church" will you get a real live person or a machine? I know of a church with well over 20,000 members and only 11 people show up for prayer.

I was sickened by this last presidential race, not because of the people running, but the church's attitudes. Republicans christians think that the term Democratic Christian is an oxymoron. Democratic Christians believe all Republican Christians are intolerable. There is so much bigotry among ourselves.

Everyone was happy with former-President Bush in the beginning. The church expected him to solve the problems of the church that the church should solve itself. As soon as he did something the church did not agree with, they kicked him to the curb...the same way our new president is being dishonored. I personally did not like either candidate...however, we have a president that the bible tells us is an authority that He has chosen...

So, why not sit back and enjoy the harvest we are reaping from the seeds we have sown? We have winked at things in the church that we find appalling in the world system. You and I are not going to be able to have our cake and eat it too.

I personally do not believe that the church is going under, though it may have to go underground some day in America. And, I do not think that God is judging America at this time. He is judging us, the church...and we are having the chaff blown away and we are being shaken...not so much by the world, but by the very choices that we have made.

If we would clean up our churches we would see the changes we are looking for. Daniel and Joseph were found to be credible and were sought after and protected by the government they were captive in. Why bother to seek us out?

We have to learn and understand how church government functions before we can even begin to function properly in the world system. My pastor always says this...the world is in trouble, but the Kingdom of God is doing real good. Until we understand the kingdom (the rule and reign of God in our lives) we will continue to seek comfort and convenience from the world system.
