A sign of the time has happened on June 9, 2010 while Christians spend countless hours on Facebook and other entertainment forms that dull their spiritual vision.
Many of average Americans are not aware of this because we are too busy trying making ends meet. While others slumber in front of their laptops and PCs complaining about what someone wrote on their Facebook wall, wicked forces are ruling and making laws that do not reflect God's Kingdom culture.
The gay agenda continues to advance under the Obama administration. Last year President Obama declared the month of June Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Month. This week in honor this month, the U.S. Department of State announced a "New Policy on Gender Change in Passports," going against what God's plan teaches.
We receive our virtues and morals from the Word of God and it states, "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God" (Deuteronomy 22:5). I submit to the reader that the Lord through His commandments teaches us His character and His perfect plan for us. To avoid confusion let me add, this deals with the condition of the heart not merely outward appearances. His plan is: if you were born a female, you are to become a woman and if you were born a male, you are to grow up to become a man. But I digress...
Here's what the U.S. Department of State concocted:
The U.S. Department of State is pleased to use the occasion of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Month to announce its new policy guidelines regarding gender change in passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad.
Beginning June 10, when a passport applicant presents a certification from an attending medical physician that the applicant has undergone appropriate clinical treatment for gender transition, the passport will reflect the new gender. The guidelines include detailed information about what information the certification must include. It is also possible to obtain a limited-validity passport if the physician’s statement shows the applicant is in the process of gender transition. No additional medical records are required. Sexual reassignment surgery is no longer a prerequisite for passport issuance. A Consular Report of Birth Abroad can also be amended with the new gender.
As with all passport applicants, passport issuing officers at embassies and consulates abroad and domestic passport agencies and centers will only ask appropriate questions to obtain information necessary to determine citizenship and identity.
The new policy and procedures are based on standards and recommendations of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), recognized by the American Medical Association as the authority in this field.
Now, reading this, you like many other faithful Christians would probably comment, "We should just pray." I agree, however, haven't we been praying for years? May I dare to suggest we should do more than pray? Christ didn't just tell us to pray, He also commanded us to go, speak, preach the Kingdom, heal the sick and to represent Him. Whenever God did something through anybody in history they first prayed and second, God sent them to represent Him. How about you? Will entertainment and internet social networking sites distract you? Will you just pray for a day or two and then forget? Sin has come out the closets; it's time for Christians to come out theirs.
