We as christrians must be as the sons of issachar, we must understand the times and the seasons we are living in. yes the people voted and they got just what they wanted but it will come at a great price, clearly this is a case of history repeating itself, as in the days of King Saul, the people did not want God to rule them they wanted a King and God gave them exactly what they wanted. there is such apostasy in the land and teaching that is not foundational so there is nothing to hold on to, but the prosperity teaching, so how can the people get the substance of the Word of God, God's people need teaching, the teacher is held to a higher standard than the Prophet, The Word says, My people perish for a lack of knowledge, it is going to take prayer for the president to receive Godly counsel because i don;t believe he knows God like that, my prayer is that God will send someone to speak with him soon concerning the abortion issue and same sex marraiges cause this is what can provoke God to sending judgement in the land. we know God is not willing that any should perish but that all might come to repentence. my prayer is Lord have more mercy upon our president and save him before it is too late, give him Godly wisdom and counsel send a man or woman of God to warn of impending danger. people of God, Please Pray like never before soak him and his staff in prayer. the enemy is cunning he knows what would get God angry so he is pushing it, but we must fast and pray for this nation and nations around the world, pray for pastors who maybe compromising the word, we are now moving into the 70th week that Daniel the Prophet spoke of, we know what time it is and we must be alert and share the gospel news with many, he that winneth souls is wise, the whole world is looking for a man that would bring them out of the financial crisis and other problems the world is facing, but why not look the Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Please Saints please continue to pray for Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper that love thee. I just want to report how God took care of me just yesterday. God does take care of his own and in mighty and miraculous ways, I suddenly lost my job New Years Eve morning with a phone call that Friday Jan 2nd was to be my last day, well God new my heart ache and when I cried out to him, in less than 4 hours, not only did he change the minds of my bosses, because we were all crying and heart broken over 2 very ill sisters 87 and 93, I nurse on a daily basis, but he gave me double the money and more than double the hours. I mentioned casually to their kids, whose report will you believe, the doctor's or God's. You don't have to do everything just because a doctor said you should. God is so good and loving I just have to tell the world, that when it looks like our darkest hour, hang on, God will do a miracle, more than what we even asked for. Thank You Jesus. However I discern that America will come to its end. The Church has developed a lazy attitude about issues of moral importance. And, I don't know when this began but there is a gospel going around that teaches the Church to think about your comfort zone - money in your pockets, homes, education, etc. Didn't Jesus teach, "seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you"? So if these words are not instilled into peoples souls then there is no surprise that many Christians voted for their pocketbooks instead of "knowing that they are in God's economic system, and that the just shall live by faith." And now we are facing a crisis of proportions that we simply can not deal with without the help of God. And I disagree with the statement that God placed Obama into office. Yes, God is in charge but there are times that He will allow the people have what the people want, just as in the days of King Saul - they wanted a King and not God . Therefore God allowed the people to have what they wanted. History does repeat itself, even if it's ancient history. The results of the people's choice were ruinous for Israel, they were in one war after another and their king continually disobeyed God - and so it goes with America. And as in King Saul's day, this nation is divided, but more importantly it's what we end up believing, God or Obama, that will determine God's next move towards or against us. But there is always a remnant- a small number like those who fought with Gideon. Isn't it wonderful that God doesn't need thousands or millions to get the job done? Three hundred and twenty will do. Hallejah! And those who, like the 3 Hebrews men, will not observe the President's decrees over the Word of God. And, as bold as these 3 were, will stand up against all unrightousness even in the face of great danger. So for Christians who truly acknowledge God as I AM, let us continue to pray seeking His face in repentance for this nation. Let the prophets of God continue to prophecy at this time and let their voices become louder and challenging, like Elijah, with boldness and greatness of Truth. And let us pray that all who are in a state of lull to wake up and truly hear and agree with God. And most importantly, pray that the Lord Jesus Christ not stop speaking to this country and does not take His Holy Spirit from us. For if what you say is true, Europe is devoid of the Holy Spirit and is spiritually dead. So let us pray for this President-elect for it is only through ferverent prayer that any heart changes. (My prayer has been that God give Obama a Nebuchanzzer-experience.) Let us dare to ope in God to have a President who will seek God's face and His face only before making a decision. I have never in ALL of my days seen such scared Christians! The overwhelming thread in most of these articles and blogs is how Obama is going to issue in an era of doom and gloom! From the pulpit to to paper it is outrageous! Your problem is that you have not lived up to your end of the bargain as a Christian! As Christians we have abortions and homosexual relationships at alarning rates! Also the gay community points to us and say we can't even keep our own marriages as Christian straight people. What about all of the pedophiles that are born again bible thumpers, that go to church every time the doors are open? We need to clean up our own house and stop being "afraid or alarmed" of what Obama ushers in! It is already here in our churches by people who claim to have the Holy Ghost! The country and our policies are a reflection of the CHURCH! Repent and get YOUR house in order and leave the running of the government to God who is the head of us all! NOTHING happens without His permission. Obama won because GOD said so! So what is the Church to do? Humble ourselves before an Almighty God and stop trying to run His business. Fall on our kness and repent for the things we have allowed in our own midst amongst the Saints, Get up and start running after souls and living a Godly life before men that they may see our good works and glorify God, be Light in a dark world so that people have hope! But most of all stop with all of these building projects and build people to be a witness unto a lost and dying world so that they may come to know Jesus! The world is going to get worse and worse, especially now that the PEOPLE of the United States put Obama in office, even our brothers and sisters in Christ voted him into office. Now is not the time for us to SHUT UP, but rather, we had better keep Jesus first in our lives and pray,pray,pray for America! I don't fear what's ahead because I know who I belong to, but those who don't and even some who do belong to Christ are going to know soon enough what a huge mistake they made in whom they voted for. The issues that the supreme court judges Obama puts in, are about to change the laws as we have never known it could ever be. Personally, I know and believe with all my heart, that God is still and will always be in control of all this. If we REALLY pray and seek God for this nation, He will hear us and answer our prayers. Problem is many who belong to Christ are not praying like they should and some don't even bother, sad to say. So when horrific things begin to happen, don't blame George W.
