I quickly learned what it means to stand in faith and resist the Devil the hard way. I pressed through against the odds in an anti-Christ European nation. The fruit of the Christian lifestyle is excitement, fulfillment – and warfare. Since the very nature of the Christian life is warring unto breakthrough, learning the art of war is a given.
I joined the staff of what was then one of the largest apostolic ministries and Bible schools in Europe. The church’s vision was to preach the Gospel and establish new churches in Scandinavia, Russia and around the world. It was so exciting to be a part of an active church where every believer was challenged to evangelism, missions, an overcoming lifestyle and holiness, and the services were filled with the glory of God. But the excitement and fulfillment was also accompanied by battles and challenges that were, at that time, new to me. There was a feeling in the overall atmosphere of constant heaviness and oppression. It almost felt like I was breathing depression. I knew it was not homesickness or even the adjustment to a whole new culture, rather I had entered a completely different spiritual climate – one that I had never known before.

As co-organizer of the Ashtabula County (Ohio) Tax Day Tea Party, I am overwhelmed by the number of people who came out to stand up for our nation, our freedoms and our Constitution.
After opening in prayer, we stood together in the rain and listened to several speakers from around our county, including Bob Shultz, April Sabo, Jason Keeler, James Von Tesmar and Dale Sutherland. Although in the beginning, the TEA Party was about taxes, most of us soon realized it is much bigger than that. It's about our basic freedoms as Americans. Those freedoms stated in our Constitution, written by godly men for a godly nation.

Have you ever been sick and tired of being sick? You know that feeling when it seems you are never going to get over a cold and you are so tired you just don’t think you can take it anymore. You’ve been to the doctor; the medicine didn’t really help. You’ve coughed until your sides ache. You’ve blown your nose until it’s red and sore. You’ve lost sleep, work, and your sense of humor. The worst part is that you’re completely helpless against that cold.
In 1993, that was the story of my life. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I felt like everything about my life was going in a pointless circle. I felt like one day I was on top of the world and the next I was flat on the floor. I had just enough faith to get from one week to the next, my emotions always getting the better of me. My life was in a never-ending tailspin. I wanted the cycle to end, but it seemed the more I tried the more tired I got. I felt hopeless.

How your prayer language unlocks mysteries and establishes Godly strongholds in your life.
We’ve been talking about obtaining breakthrough in our lives. We’ve talked about our confession, fasting and how strongholds are built. However, there is another key piece to this puzzle of “breakthrough.”
Do you ever feel that in spite of all you do, you are banging your head against a ceiling?

God is calling Christians to watch and pray. Are you on your post?
Are you building walls of religion or towers of prayer? Your answer could denote the difference between a woe-filled fate and a fulfilled destiny.
Prophets obsessed by the fear of man or unholy desires will not fulfill God’s ultimate plan. We must be careful, then, not to prophesy according to the party line in order to establish and preserve popularity in ministry circuits. If we fall into this trap we find ourselves in danger of perverting the gift of God by building walls of religion.
True prophets are not always the most popular five-fold ministry gift on the block because they are bold enough to release a word of the Lord that deals with sin or that warns the local church of potentially unpleasant circumstances coming down the proverbial pike. In order to properly carry this mantle, genuine prophets must build towers of prayer.
False prophets build walls of religion that lead people astray with fabricated edification, misleading exhortation and counterfeit comfort. “These evil prophets deceive my people saying, ‘All is peaceful!’ when there is no peace at all! It’s as if the people have built a flimsy wall, and these prophets are trying to hold it together by covering it with whitewash! Tell these whitewashers that their wall will soon fall down” (Ezekiel 13:10 NLT).

SAN DIEGO, May 7 -- Why would our President cease holding National Day of Prayer Ceremonies at the White House during the most turbulent economic times in our nation? When his constituents are looking to his leadership for the hope and change he promised during his campaign? When he constantly quoted scriptures and the Bible at campaign stops along his road to the White House? Our Presidents have done so since 1988, used Christianity to gain political advantage and earn the position of President.

The subtle voice of doubt could be robbing your prayer answers, your healing – and your destiny.
needed a healing. I had several “medical conditions” in my physical body that manifested in a string of strange ways. The root of it was a whacked out sympathetic nervous system that caused my heart to beat too fast and my blood pressure to rise up to the point that I would become too dizzy to stand. I was taking medications for this “condition” for which there was no cure, and the medications, of course, caused more unwanted symptoms. I needed a healing.

Fervent prayer is really a bench mark of a healthy New Testament church. Prayer is one of the hardest things to get going in places of worship. I recall the country's typical for prayer gatherings was approximately five percent attendance. That could be precisely why quite a few ministries tend to be dull and exanimate. Not so inside New Testament apostolic places of worship.
After you enter an apostolic church you'll quickly come across fervency in the prayer life of the people. Apostolic folks are praying people. These types of people realize that vigorous fervent prayer enables much of The lord's power reachable. Scripture states, "The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16).

When trouble comes your way, will the mountain move your faith or will your faith move the mountain? The Christian life is not a religion. It’s a lifestyle. It means fighting the good fight of faith day in and day out as we co-labor with Christ to build His Church. Some have asked, “Do I have to fight to be apostolic?” Yes, because the apostolic concept of ministry is to invade and occupy. But Jesus assured us that the gates of hell would not prevail. (That means we win. And when we win we get the spoils!) The real question, then, becomes how to win the day-to-day battles. The short answer is submission, faith, fervent prayer and endurance.

In 2 Chronicles 20:4-7 the Israelites under King Jehoshaphat were attacked by several enemy armies and one of their cities was captured. From their stressful situation, we can learn how to call on the Lord and pray for our stressful situations. The first thing that King Jehoshaphat did when he stood in the house of the Lord to pray, was to declare that God was in control in heaven and here on earth.
