Atlanta, Georgia TEA Party
I attended the Atlanta, Georgia TEA Party with my group from Dekalb County, Ga.. We arrived at 6 and left at 10 when Sean Hannity's show was over. The event was very well organized and had many guest speakers including, Dick Armey, Rep. Tom Price, RedState.com, SmartGirl Politics and all of the Atlanta Tea Party.net folks. Country music star, John Rich, performed at the end of Hannity's show on FOX. I saw people from every walk of life attending this event, and I was proud to see these great Americans come out for this cause.

Austin County, Texas TEA Party
Reprinted with permission from Wallis News
A large crowd of Austin County residents joined Congressman Michael McCaul Tuesday afternoon in Sealy to say they have been Taxed Enough Already (TEA). Rep. McCaul was traveling throughout his district on April 14-15 hosting TEA Parties in Brenham, Sealy, Katy and Tomball on April 14 and Austin on April 15.

Austin County coordinator Pat Wright told the crowd that over 2,000 such gatherings were being held around the United States as Tax Day arrives in protest of the stimulus payments and bailouts that are being made by the government.

Bangor, Maine TEA Party Report
The TEA Party in Bangor, Maine, started at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2009.  Attendees gathered across the street from the Margaret Chase Smith Federal Building and Post Office.  We chose to gather there so we would not block the entrance to the Post Office and allow people to "pay their taxes."  Nearly 400 people from all walks of life (and a few dogs) attended.

At 1:30 pm after everyone had a chance to mix and mingle we paraded downtown (about 3 blocks) to the Kenduskeag Stream.  At the stream everyone was given the opportunity to toss in some loose tea. There were no speeches!  The grassroots attendees were encouraged to speak out if they so desired, but their signs and flags spoke volumes.

Someone remarked that for every attendee there were at least 10 more driving by honking horns and waving to show their support.  It was a great day!

Charles Town, West Virginia: TEA Party Report
I attended the TEA Party in historic Charles Town, WV. A town founded by Charles Washington, older brother of George.

Bob Adams, one of the coordinators for the event, in true patriotic form, showed up dressed like Samuel Adams.  People were waving flags, collecting tea bags to be sent to State Representatives in Washington, DC - only about 68 miles away - while singing patriotic songs. Drivers and other passerby's were honking their horns and shouting in approval. The local TV station, NBC 25, out of Hagerstown, MD was present talking to people, to "Sam Adams," and collecting video footage. Journalists were there getting info from people as well.

Columbia, South Carolina: TEA Party Againts Federal Government Spending
Columbia, SC.- What a difference a well-behaved demonstration makes!

The South Carolina Statehouse on Gervais Street in Columbia, SC was overflowing with patriots that volunteered their time to demonstrate with patriotic, meaningful signs, placards, banners, flags, t-shirts, etc. I had the pleasure of watching over 3,000 true patriots demonstrate against excessive federal government spending and an overly-aggressive federal government.
