Popular media can be a powerful influence on the culture. While there are many evil and destructive messages coming out of Hollywood, some Christians are making wonderful movies with positive messages. 

Fireproof is such a movie. It is an action/drama by the same talented team at Sherwood Baptist Church of Albany, Georgia, that was behind the smash hit, Facing the Giants. This timeless story revolves around the relationship between a firefighter husband and his wife, a hospital public relations director.  

After seeing this amazing motion picture, I believe Fireproof has the potential to ignite a firestorm of support for godly marriage after its September 26 release date.

Florida Red and Blue, a front group for the radical homosexual agenda that opposes Amendment 2, the Florida Marriage Protection Amendment, appears to be in a panic in the face of Tuesday’s historic election.

The group filed a lawsuit against several people and organizations, including Florida4Marriage.org (the official sponsor of the Amendment), Florida Family Policy Council, Florida Family Action, John Stemberger and Tom Messer.

The lawsuit filed by Benedict P. Kuehne alleges election law violations. Florida Red and Blue's complaint, filed at the Florida Division of Elections, has already been dismissed. Even though Florida law does not allow a private cause of action, Florida Red and Blue retained Kuehne to file this lawsuit anyway.

McDonald's is backing off its pro-gay marriage push.

Feeling the pressure from a successful American Family Association (AFA) boycott of the fast-food chain, McDonald's has committed to remaining neutral in the culture war regarding homosexual marriage.

"We appreciate the decision by McDonald's to no longer support political activity by homosexual activist organizations," the AFA said in a statement. "You might want to thank your local McDonald's manager."
